Countdown...Days 17 & 16

The past couple days have been busy, but not a lot of big stuff happening, mostly little things...I mean, little things which count towards big things...like getting back home :-)

For example, the window sills were sanded and primed before the new windows get dropped onto them.

Interior door hardware was installed and adjusted to fit...perfectly!  Thanks Severin :-)

Coat hangers installed in Mudroom.

The breakfast bar display bulkhead is completed...pics to come.

Today I went to Victoria and picked up a bunch more finishing supplies so we can keep busy this weekend and next week.

Cabinets are scheduled to arrive tomorrow...installation next week :-)

Yup...I can feel the end approaching and I can't wait to sit in the living room and breathe a deep sigh at the end of this journey.  But it's been worth it and the result is better than we could've ever hoped.  Thank you to all those who have extended so much generosity towards our family in this very practical way!
